Living in western country, restoring food and cooking materials is our weekly routine; basically, Monday is my restoring and relaxing day.
Different from shopping with your besties, I love to spend some “me time” more (well, honestly, I’m kind of…… withdrawn.), strolling down the street, shopping or just window shopping in the stores one by one without any specific target all alone, if I’m tired, just head into a restaurant that catches my eyes and have a cup of drink and dessert.
My life in France, December just unknowingly arrived.
Comparing to France and all the other catholic countries, Christmas in Asia is just so commercial; from the photos of Taipei Christmas market I saw online, it was full of niche and money. We don’t have this historical culture after all. Of course, I didn't mean that there's nothing good in Asia, if one day I see a Market of Chinese New Year in western coutries, I will have the same opinion.
On the other hand, Marchés de Noël in France, it’s just like an outgrowth appeared naturally in the end of November. There’s no sponsored Christmas tree, no pilgrims of the Christmas market, no signboards for the merchants in the market, no huge slogan for the coming of Christmas; however, with the amount of cabins, warm yellow light, tons of Christmas decoration in every alleys and streets, not only the Christmas market, but also the whole city is reminding you that- CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
